Inspirational word: waffle.
Concept:
The design focuses on physical and literary connotations drawn from the noun "waffle". The melting stringer design is reminiscent of falling syrup, whilst the cross-grid support system represents surface indentations found on waffles. By juxtaposing the stringer's irregular curves with an underlying forest of interlocked support beams, the design reflects on how the client's abstract work is inherently founded upon a singular infallible concept.
