idea behind design: the central space (the cube for reference) becomes the transitional space between the subject buildings. also provides room for space requirements.

- creating a net above the buildings
- flow of natural light to areas beneath

idea behind design: multi-functional spaces: platforms that become stairs to other spaces. block shape at irregular elevations creates ambiguity in the use of spaces.
